Made bright, tart Japanese citrus (yuzu) from Wakayama, with the smoky, woody, and relaxing notes of Hinoki cypress from Aomori and antibacterial Hiba cedarwood from Wakayama, Japan.

It's a fragrance that naturally resonates with the Japanese sensibility.

Yuzu is a citrus fruit with a distinctive fragrance that is deeply rooted in Japanese food and lifestyle culture.

Hinoki and Hiba woods were used as building materials for sacred temples, some of which were built over 1300 years ago, and they still retain their beautiful appearance today.

From a young age, we have been exposed to the scents emanating from Japan's nature and architecture, on shrine grounds, mountain paths, and in hot spring inns (“Onsen”).

The fragrance of Japanese essential oils is linked to these familiar memories, bringing a sense of nostalgia and profound relaxation.

It also has a deep connection with Japanese culture and history.

I used to take a bath with yuzu floating in the hot water in a bathtub as an occasion of the winter solstice (toji).

It’s a Japanese custom that has continued since the Edo period.

The strong fragrance is believed to ward off evil spirits and serves as a form of purification with the hope of promoting blood circulation, alleviating cold symptoms, and preventing colds.

Experiencing Japanese essential oils is also about experiencing this history and culture.

Comes with a 10ml fine spray bottle.

NOTE:

The perfume aroma does not “last long all day” since it is made with all-natural ingredients, free of chemicals, aldehydes, artificial preservatives & synthetic solvents and fragrance.

Enjoy applying several times and allow it to radiate throughout the day.

M Botánica items are all handcrafted in small batches from pure botanical ingredients, made by Maiko.

All ingredients are sustainably sourced organic & USDA organic certified botanicals: free from all chemicals, aldehydes, artificial preservatives & synthetic solvents, or fragrance.

Nothing but pure botanical ingredients, & made with aloha.
